Happy Wednesday, January 31, 2018 everyone! As you may now, today is the deadline for entry into the drawing to win a $10 Amazon gift card and an eBook copy of Steve’s Story! 11:59 pm is it!! There’s been a ton . . . well, 9 entries so far, but one never knows!! Someone is going to get lucky!!
In the past week, not much new has happened, except lots of rest, really. I needed that so I could get back to normal. For the most part, I am, save for the sniffles and runny nose and the occasional cough. But that’s a far sight better than how I was prior! That cold or whatever I had really kicked my arse pretty damn good!
Today at work, I did sell the first two books in the Another Time series to a parts vendor. It was quite random, but I like to work networking and marketing as I can, whatever the circumstances! Don’t leave any stone unturned, is what I believe!
I haven’t heard anything in regards to my books I have at Adventures Underground, in Richland, Washington. My brother Pete is going to try and stop in there when he gets a chance and take some photos of the books on the shelves. That will be exciting when he does!! I believe there is also book one at the Boise Public Library, so I must make a trip there and see if I can snap a photo of that one!
My cat, Charlie, continues to give me issues when I’m trying to write in the office. I feel bad about kicking him out, but I can’t write when he’s pacing in front of the monitor and laying down with half his body on the keyboard! How many of you fellow authors deal with this issue as well? How do you handle this?
We keep getting notifications from the weather people that Boise is going to have a winter snow storm, but, thankfully, we haven’t seen it . . . yet . . . and I’m fine with that. In fact, yesterday it got up to the high 50’s. It felt so nice, almost spring like!
Author wife Nicole and I are moving right along in our book. We have just shy of 50k words and the book still isn’t really half way in. The excitement with this project keeps building!! I can’t wait to be able to share with the world our baby!!
My PA, Jessica is starting the editing process on Tales of Nick 3, so I hope that within the next month or so to be able to announce the publication of Book 3, and then she’ll be starting on Tales of Nick 4! So many good things!!
Here’s a recommendation for anyone wanting to watch something cool on Netflix! “Wanted” is an series from Australia about 2 women who are polar opposites who inadvertently get involved in a murder and end up on the run together. It’s a six-episode season, with 2 seasons in the can. I watched the final episode last night and was sad it was over. Today, I just read that a third season has been sanctioned, which should be available this year!! I am so happy!!
Hope you all have a great rest of the week! Please don’t hesitate to write, message or whatever whenever you feel the desire!! I love the interaction!!
Thanks for all your love and support, as always!!
Steve!
