Hello friends! I've decided that since there's been more than one occasion that I haven't posted my normal, Wednesday blog ON Wednesday, that perhaps I should change the usual blog post day to Sundays! A couple of reasons. When it comes to Wednesday, there's still a full two days that can pass with exciting and eventful occurances that I can blog about. That and during the week, I find myself wiped out by the end of the work day and all I really want to do is kick back and relax. I trust this change will fit into everyone's schedule.
So how's everyone's week been? It was pretty good for me. I got the paperback proof back from Createspace and only found one thing that looks like it should be changed. Well, just two words that, although they were spelled correctly, were just incorrect for the intended purpose of the sentence. For anyone who has read the eBook version, you may have seen this at the beginning of Chapter 20. Here's a flash-fun giveaway!! For the first one who correctly identifies exactly which two words I'm referring to and what they should be, I will award them the paperback version of Tales of Nick 4, when it's released later this year!! Hey, that's something to look forward to, right?
They killed off Nick. Now here's my take on this. The actor wanted to leave the show. He missed his home country and he felt working on a television series was getting too difficult. Too time consuming. I get that. And perhaps I might have thought the same thing were I in his shoes. But another part of me would be so grateful that I have a steady paycheck and working on a popular series, that I might have tried to stick it out. Would his character have been killed off in the same manner if he hadn't wanted to leave? Probably not. At least not at that particular time. It's a zombie apacolypse, so anyone can go at any time, be them the leading character or a supporting person wearing a red shirt. Who understands where I got the red shirt from??
Nicole and I have gotten over the 100K mark of our collaboration! Maybe it's just me, but that's a wonderful accomplishment! And we're not done yet!! We're not done until our characters tell us we're done.
Guilty Pleasures on Netflix for me:
From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series.
The Rain.
Altered Carbon.
Arrested Development (They just released a new version of Season 4).
Narcos.
* Note - There are a lot more, but I don't want anyone thinking that all I do is watch Netflix, hahaha!!
Well, that's going to be it for today! Let me know what your Netflix treasures are! And also, read Tales of Nick 3 and find the two words I mentioned earlier in this blog post so you can have a chance to win the paperback of Tales of Nick 4!!
Much love to you all!!
Peace,
Steve
